Vertex is a contemporary men's fashion brand built for the modern minimalist - sleek silhouettes, bold cuts, and pieces designed for lasting impression. The goal was to create a digital experience that matched the energy of the brand: confident, clean, and conversion-optimized.
My Role & Approach
I led the product engineering on this including research on market feasibility, user stories, MVP features as well as the backend architecture and product build.
A fully custom storefront with Next.js for lightning-fast performance and smooth transitions
A scalable backend using NestJS + PostgreSQL for product management, orders, and admin workflows
Deployed the entire stack to AWS Lambda using Serverless Framework, keeping the infrastructure lightweight and cost-effective
Designed a mobile-first UI using Tailwind CSS to match the brand’s clean visual language
Integrated email flows and customer interactions to support early growth
