I redesigned ChatGPT.
Not to make it prettier.
But to make it quieter.
AI products don’t need more gradients.
They need more clarity.
So I focused on:
• Reducing visual noise
• Improving hierarchy
• Making the input the true hero
• Removing decorative distractions
• Designing for focus, not flash
The biggest shift?
From “UI that looks impressive”
to
“UI that feels invisible.”
Because in AI tools,
the interface shouldn’t compete with intelligence.
It should disappear.
