What does retirement look like to you? Waiting at home for children to visit, or simply killing time at the local park? This first episode of our documentary series shatters the stereotypes of old age, tracking the fiery vitality of 75-year-old soccer forward Siu Po, and Angie, a resilient soul who cheated death to embrace the theatre stage. Through their concrete actions and raw passion, they demonstrate that aging seniors can still play competitive sports, command the stage, and travel the globe with absolute autonomy.
I spearheaded the multimedia creation and campaign execution for the Hong Kong Geriatrics Society’s (HKGS) 45th anniversary milestone. Working in close collaboration with the Society Committee, I drove this comprehensive project from creative brainstorming to sharp multimedia production. The goal of this episode was to translate the core medical philosophy of "Active Aging" into a compelling visual narrative—illustrating how specialized, precise, and holistic geriatric medicine empowers older adults to reclaim full ownership of their lives, proving that with the right care, they can achieve anything they set their minds to.
