In July 2024, Connor got in touch expressing intentions to launch a brand new website for himself. He had previously put together his own website, but it's course had been ran, and Connor felt it time to bring someone in to take care of the next iteration.

We set out to define a new standard for an Esport/Gaming Design Portfolio. We wanted to stand out above the rest as Expert Design was supported by Expert Website Design. To deliver this we knew the website needed to:
• Have a consistent, crisp design. • Have responsive interaction to reinforce the premium experience. • Include a mixture of personal photos and images of work, to fuse Frostify's talent with his brand. • Have an exceptional way of displaying a variety of work. • Consist of a Case Study Content Management System that allows Connor to choose between 2 layouts for his case studies. This was our main challenge, and I pulled it off with the Framer CMS.
'The Grid' - A Pinterest-like art gallery full of Connor's 'extra' work that doesn't reside in specific case studies.

To achieve the dual-layout Case Study collection Connor wanted, I had to take a unique approach.
I designed two different case study page designs, with roughly the same direction and content, but with a different design. I then imported these designs into a single page (the first X amount of sections of the page were the first design, followed immediately by the second design.)
I then proceeded to implement a toggle in the CMS that allowed Connor to select whether or not a Case Study would take the form of an 'Alternative layout' or not. If selected, the sections from the 'first page' would be hidden, and all the content would be display on the 'second page.' This achieved the exact feature we wanted.
