please welcome my biggest project in 2023 — the magic calendar
- creating the magic-zines
spoiler alert — there’s no magic involved. one day i wondered what would happen if you combine a magic zine and a calendar. so i made the "magic calendar" out of analog film photos i made in Kyiv and the Carpathians
my personal analog photos from Kyiv and the Carpathians
it fits perfectly in your pocket, and you can write down anything you would in a monthly calendar — your plans, a friend’s bday, or use it as a mood tracker.

at the end of the month you can put it back to the other months, or unfold it and use as a poster (now made unique with your input)
- packaging
after creating the general concept of the magic calendar one major thing was missing — it needed some sort of a cover.
moment of creating process
hours shifted into days of scrolling through cover designs for inspiration, and suddenly i saw very clearly that i want it to look like a book. some chats with a fellow designer friend, and the process went on quickly!
a quick dive into some paper folding techniques and a drive to the store for the perfect paper — and that is how the magic calendar found its black book cover. some craft string and my logo cutout as a final touch.

and that’s all, really. at the end of the day you can be sure there’s no magic inside the magic calendar. but there is definitely some in you 💫
