The problem
Onboarding is where a fintech product loses customers and where regulators look first. OrbitX needed identity verification that was reliable and auditable, served several tenants from one platform, and did not lock the business into a single verification vendor.
What I built
Sumsub KYC implemented in a multi-tenant, multi-provider architecture. Verification sits behind a provider abstraction, so a provider can be added or swapped without rewriting onboarding, and each tenant runs through the same pipeline.

Alongside it, NestJS and MySQL modules for blockchain, payment and external platform integrations, and webhook-driven workflows for payment events and reliable communication with third-party systems.
Result
The KYC process improved by 79%.
