Espa is an AI-powered productivity assistant that handles scheduling, email triage, and life admin. The site was designed by Fuzzco, an agency I partnered with as a Framer development subcontractor — coming in to finish a build a designer at Fuzzco, Rachel, had already started.

Rachel had built out the Framer file with a partial responsive foundation already in place. My job was to finish the tablet and mobile breakpoints and bring the whole thing to life with tasteful, intentional animation — calm enough to fit Espa's warm, editorial aesthetic rather than feeling flashy.

The hero needed to communicate everything Espa can do in a single glance, and the rest of the site needed to feel finished and confident across every breakpoint, not just desktop.

Custom hero animation: Built a code component from scratch for the rotating headline text, cycling through Espa's core use cases ("to-dos," "meetings," "email") with a scroll-up entry/exit animation

Responsive finishing: Completed the tablet and mobile breakpoints on top of Rachel's existing foundation

Animation pass: Added scroll-triggered fade-ins and a marquee logo strip, while deliberately avoiding parallax or anything overly flashy on mobile

Shipped a hero section that communicates Espa's range of use cases through one animated, responsive component instead of a static feature list

Delivered a fully responsive site across every breakpoint, completing an existing design foundation

Landed on an animation style calm enough to match Espa's tone rather than feel gimmicky

Some of the best work is finishing someone else's foundation well — the goal wasn't to reinvent Espa's site, it was to make Rachel's groundwork feel complete and alive across every device.
