Coalescent Cognition is an AI company building tools at the intersection of cognition and technology.

What started as a responsive breakpoint fix turned into a full site overhaul — broken layouts, clipped typography, and buttons that didn't work on tablet or mobile across their original site.

Rather than patch things, the goal shifted to rebuilding the responsive structure from scratch across desktop, tablet, and mobile, with consistent rendering in both Safari and Chrome — then using that as a foundation to sharpen the site's visual identity.

Header redesign: Two options — full-width image background and a full-width AI-generated video background built with Magnific

New pages: A Team page (two-column CEO/CSO bios, matching the homepage's card styles) and a CMS-driven Privacy Policy page, both wired into the site's nav and footer

Visual refresh: An electric blue accent introduced throughout, plus a full QA pass — tightened spacing, smaller paragraph type, and fixes for tablet/mobile bugs like a clipped "g" in "Cognition" and a broken "Work with us" button

Fixed the layout, typography, and button bugs that were breaking the experience on tablet and mobile

Introduced a sharper, more distinct visual identity with a new accent color and AI-generated video header

Gave the site room to grow with new Team and Privacy Policy pages, built on reusable CMS structure

A responsive fix turned into a chance to sharpen the whole visual identity — proof that the smallest-sounding ask can be worth treating as a full pass.
