This project involved building an automated lead capture and sales notification workflow using n8n to help businesses streamline inbound lead management and reduce manual processing tasks.
The main challenge was that incoming website leads were being managed manually through emails and spreadsheets, resulting in delayed follow-ups, inconsistent lead tracking, and missed sales opportunities. The client needed a centralized workflow that could instantly capture leads, organize the data, store records automatically, and notify the sales team in real-time.
To solve this, I designed and implemented a multi-step automation workflow in n8n. The workflow starts with a webhook trigger connected to a lead capture form. Incoming lead data is automatically cleaned, normalized, and structured before being stored in Google Sheets as a lightweight CRM system. Once the lead is recorded, the workflow instantly sends automated email notifications to the sales team for immediate action.
The system was designed to improve operational efficiency, eliminate repetitive manual tasks, and ensure no incoming leads were missed during the sales process.
