Project Overview
Verdant Goods sells thoughtfully sourced sustainable products. They needed an online store that reflected their brand values — transparency, quality, and environmental responsibility — while providing a seamless shopping experience. We designed and built the entire platform from scratch.
The Challenge
Verdant wanted to differentiate from generic Shopify stores by showcasing the story behind each product and its environmental impact. They also needed a custom carbon-offset feature at checkout.
The Solution
We built a custom Next.js storefront with a Supabase-backed CMS. Each product page features a "Story" section with sourcing details and a carbon footprint calculator. The checkout includes an optional carbon-offset contribution that is automatically calculated based on order weight.
