Silex: Moving Switzerland’s Legal AI from Framer to Webflow
Silex is a Swiss legal AI used by 800+ law firms and legal teams. Together with Aperture Capital, I moved their website from Framer to Webflow, covering 107 pages and 2,230 CMS items in French, English, German and Italian.
A live site in 4 languages, with years of rankings and active ad spend, had to move platforms without breaking a single thing.
10 Framer collections (about 700 items), with translations not linked
578 live URLs that had to keep their Google rankings
0 ad data reaching HubSpot
Marketing couldn’t launch a campaign without a developer
4 languages to move with no SEO loss
The New System: Built for the team, not the Developer
The goal was a site that’s logical to navigate, easy to edit, and quick to launch new pages on, with a developer needed only for genuinely new features.
Pages are assembled from ready-made components, and every CMS field has clear instructions. Repetitive things like SEO titles, empty blocks and webinar recordings take care of themselves. Launching a page is now a marketing task, not a dev ticket.
60+ components, organized so the team always knows what to use
8 button styles from 1 component, reused 170x
13 CMS collections, each with its own template and SEO fields
6 variable collections that control the whole design
4 languages, 1 structure
Content That Runs Itself:
1 form ID connects a HubSpot form to any webinar
Auto-switch from registration to recording after the event
Video chapters generated from the YouTube API
Schema generated on every template automatically
Dates translated into 4 languages automatically
SEO titles and empty blocks handled automatically
578 URLs Moved, 0 Rankings Lost
Before launch we audited every old URL in all 4 languages:
578 indexed URLs audited
495 (86%) kept the exact same address
83 redirected with 301s to their new pages
0 broken links at launch
The result
Faster to launch. Smarter by default. Ready to scale.
Silex’s team now publishes blog posts, podcasts and webinars in 4 languages on its own, without waiting on a developer. The migration went live with zero broken links, and the website finally works the way the team does.
