KoboSave: Smart Financial Freedom at Your Fingertips

KoboSave is a personal finance management by combining budgeting with automated savings features, specifically designed for the African market. The app empowers users to take control of their finances and customize savings goals.

Our goals were to deliver an effortless saving experience that works with users' natural financial behaviors, create a platform that resonates with both tech-savvy youth and traditional banking customers, integrate local payment systems and banking infrastructure, and maintain bank-grade security while keeping the interface approachable and intuitive.

To achieve these goals, our first step was to address a critical pain point in personal finance: the friction between intention and action in saving money. Based on extensive user research, we implemented an automated micro-savings system that provides insight into spending habit and remove the hassle from effective savings. We created an intelligent categorization system that automatically classifies expenses and provides actionable insights, eliminating the need for manual tracking and enabling users to make informed financial decisions.

The end result is a comprehensive financial platform that empowers users to take control of their financial future. Users can now automate their savings, track expenses in real-time, set and achieve financial goals, and learn better money management practices through personalized insights.
