Smart Highway Monitoring

Today, most of the traffic management systems available in Italy, are not automated and are prone to human errors. Roads are being monitored using the traditional methods and reports are being filled on paper. The data is transferred manually from paper to electronic systems like spreadsheets, during which numbers might be misread or entered incorrectly. The paper habit not only is open to error, but it is also expensive. Therefore, we were asked to design a modern traffic management app, to substitute the expensive and inefficient old system. I was one of the UX/UI designers among other teammates, and my role was mostly to adapt the design for users who needed to use the same system on tablets.
