Just imagine a house where anything in it can be managed with a tap on your phone. A home where you can adjust the lighting, lock and unlock your doors from anywhere, create a fantastic atmosphere to watch a movie, and the list goes on. Indeed, this seems very interesting and like we're living in a world of magic, but thanks to the IoT, all these things are already possible.

First Proposal

Mobile App​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

This is an application which allows you to control your smart home. Using this app the user can do a variety of things from controlling home appliances to seeing and managing every fixture installed in the house. Bringing numerous features of appliances, devices, and items into different rooms that serve various human needs, and into limited screen sizes is always a challenge. In this app I tried to find the sweet spot between functionality and a more thoroughly enjoyable user experience. Keeping always a simple but elegant UI which somehow conveys the feel of such modern technology.

Second Proposal

App for iPad​​​​​​​​​​​​​

As a second proposal, for the iPad I tried to go with a different approach. Simplicity, attention to the details and out of the box thinking are what I had in mind while I was designing this app. It is obvious that users need the technology to work for them and for that they need to improve the process of connecting with the technology.  Therefore in the iPad app I provide the possibility of seeing the house in real time, going around different angels and controlling each and every appliance or fixture by tapping on it.
