This animation was created for my next YouTube video, Letters to Jesus, part of my channel and project about Christianity and art, The Foundation: https://www.youtube.com/@TheFoundationDCSS In this video, I’ll be talking about the fascinating story of the holy relic known as the Mandylion.

What I’m showing here is a 28-second sequence depicting the Fourth Crusade, a key moment in history when Venice attacked Constantinople. Amid the chaos, the Mandylion disappeared.

Even though I know that one day I’ll be directing big-budget movies, right now I’m imagining what they might look like through AI.

I invite you to follow my project and watch my first video, Christ et Le Cinématographe — a deep dive into the relationship between cinema and Christianity. Christ et Le Cinématographe (In that video, I also used AI for key sequences to recreate specific historical events.) The scenes were created using Claude for precise prompt enhancement, along with Nano Banana Pro on Higgsfield for image generation. The videos were animated using Kling 03 and Seedance 2.0, and the music was created with Suno.
