Portraits Through The Tele Lens
In 2019 Loop Communications approached me and asked for a set of portrait shots for their use on some social media channels. The company's goal were empathic but yet interesting images which would lure the viewers to look behind the image and discover the story of each image.
All portraits were shot in a course of three weeks on different places in and around the city of Vienna (Austria). In the process I chose a tele lens (70-200mm) to work with, leaving me with just enough distance to the people portrayed to not interfere with their natural behavior.
I left some of the final shots in a black and white edit, and developed a special desaturated color grade for the others.
