NFT Genesis Collection Forming

In July 2021 I joined the NFT game and launched my genesis NFT collection of Opensea platform. NFTs are becoming a more and more used way of selling and collecting art. Non fungible Tokens (NFT) are a non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a blockchain, a form of digital ledger, that can be sold and traded. Types of NFT data units may be associated with digital files such as photos, videos, and audio.

My NFTs are all associated with photography. Through the blockchain I found a way to showcase and market my photographs. Being a keen landscape photographer, I chose a collection of 10 images to go into my first NFT collection - which in the blockchain is usually called a Genesis Collection.

“FORMING” is a set of landscape photos showcasing regions lesser travelled. During two years of the pandemic I used my time during travel bans to explore landscapes around him in Austria. The working process produced a very unique style, which can clearly be seen in all pieces. Dreamy landscapes with a careful use of natural light and a unique way of translating nature’s beauty into art. Forming exhibits my journey to finally seeing the world around me in a different perspective, re-learning passion. Today my photography is an art that I am proud to publish.

Used to traveling, I felt limited in my freedom when in 2020 all borders closed due to COVID. No more travel for two long years. I felt angry when I saw traveling shots on Instagram, but chose to use the energy to explore the landscapes around me. I learned to see things I took for granted with different eyes again.

First sales by big collectors soon followed the release of the Genesis NFT Collection Forming. Four pieces already found a new home, a couple of other NFTs are watched by collectors from around the world.
