Love Dating App - UI/UX Design🌹

Love is a mobile dating experience designed to help people discover compatible partners through a simple, visual, and engaging experience.

The goal was not just to create another swipe-based dating interface, but to design a product that feels personal, approachable, and easy to navigate—from creating a profile and setting preferences to discovering matches and starting conversations.

I focused on creating a consistent experience across the entire user journey while keeping the interface visually warm and emotionally aligned with the dating context.

Dating apps can quickly become overwhelming when users are presented with too much information, complicated filters, or unclear navigation.

The challenge was to create an experience where users could:

Set their preferences without feeling overwhelmed

Quickly understand potential matches

Explore profiles in a visually engaging way

Easily recognize mutual matches

Move naturally from discovery to conversation

Manage conversations without losing context

Complete their profile and improve their chances of finding a compatible partner

The experience needed to feel simple enough for first-time users while still providing enough control for active users.

I structured the experience around the user's natural dating journey:

Each stage has a clear purpose and avoids unnecessary actions.

Rather than placing every feature into the main navigation, I kept the primary experience focused around discovery and communication, while secondary actions such as preferences and profile management remain accessible when needed.

Designing a dating app is not only about making attractive profile cards or swipe interactions.

The real UX challenge is creating a journey where users feel comfortable moving from “Who should I meet?” to “I found someone I want to talk to.”

For Love, I focused on making that journey feel simple, visual, and emotionally engaging—from the first preference selection to the first conversation.
