Patholux Logo Design

Patholux is a laboratory information system for pathology labs. The brief: look nothing like legacy healthcare software - clean, modern, and a little rebellious.

The name does the heavy lifting - "lux" sounds like Luchs, German for lynx. I built a minimal lynx face mark from clean geometric curves, where the outer frame doubles as a shield and a lab crosshair. The palette keeps it intentionally un-clinical: cyan, white, and deep charcoal - precise and modern without falling into the usual healthcare blues.

The deliverable included the logo, inverted versions, clear space rules, color combinations, and a full brand guidelines document.
