In a world saturated with "good vibes only," most wellness apps ask us to reach for the positive. Koso was born from a different belief: that life is a natural loop of ups and downs, and there is profound beauty in accepting every part of that journey. The down days are not a problem to fix. They are part of who we are.

Koso is the harmonious blend of two ancient symbols — the opened Enso circle and the Koru spiral.

The Enso, rooted in Zen tradition, represents the acceptance of imperfection, the practice of mindfulness, and the quiet courage of growth. It is drawn in a single brushstroke, intentionally left open — because wholeness does not require perfection. The Koru, a spiral form from Māori culture, symbolises continuous unfolding and new beginnings. Every turn of the spiral is a return, and every return is a fresh start.
When these two symbols are brought together, the Enso encloses the Koru — holding it, protecting it. This visual union captures something essential: that growth happens within a container of acceptance. That new beginnings are only possible when we stop resisting where we are. The circle also represents community — the idea that this journey of inner exploration and transformation is one we do not walk alone.
Together, they become Koso. A space to feel, accept, and release.
