WordPress

This client had an Angular application that contained static content such as blogs, articles, and newsletters. Previously when PR wished to publish new content they wrote copy from the blog/article/newsletter and then sent it to a developer who turned it into an HTML file and added it to the Angular application. The process required that the application be redeployed every time a new blog/article/newsletter was posted. This not only caused unnecessary downtime but also caused unnecessary work for the developers.
To address this issue I deployed WordPress as a Content Management System. This allowed PR and Marketing to write and publish blogs/articles/newsletters directly in WordPress. Using the WordPress API, the Angular application could query posts and display them in the web application.
