Data Integration for Genealogy data

The task was to transform messy and incomplete family tree data into streamlined and well-structured information.

The challenge lay in managing intricate familial connections and the need for precise matching of names, number identifiers, age estimations, and seamless integration of familial additions to guarantee accuracy throughout the family record.

I implemented a structured data entry process, carefully capturing and inputting individuals' details and familial connections into the database. I corrected inaccurate data and made sure each entry was aligned with the corresponding number identifiers from the PDF file.

To address incomplete information, I employed a methodical strategy, strictly adhering to a predetermined set of entry guidelines to fill in missing data and derive accurate estimations. This strategy also facilitated the seamless integration of familial relationships, ensuring additional information was incorporated without disrupting the overall organization.

This systematic approach was crucial in guaranteeing accuracy throughout the entire data entry process.

The result was a comprehensive and well-organized relational genealogy record.
