Northstar — AI Chatbot Workspace Next.js (Concept Template)

Northstar is a commercial concept AI chatbot workspace and multi-agent application template built with Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, shadcn/ui, TanStack Query 5, and next-intl. It runs entirely in the browser via an integrated Mock Service Worker (MSW) + IndexedDB persistence layer, backed by a formal OpenAPI 3.1 contract.

Designed for teams building conversational AI products, agent orchestrators, and internal knowledge workspaces, Northstar provides an end-to-end interactive product experience out of the box without requiring external API keys to preview.

Interactive Streaming Chat Workspace: Simulated Server-Sent Events (SSE) streaming responses, Markdown and syntax-highlighted code blocks, prompt starter chips, tool selection (Image Studio, Web Search, Canvas Studio, Skill Runner), and a collapsible right-hand Context Rail for session memory and attached documents.

10+ Dedicated Workspace Views: Chat Workspace, Library, Projects, Agents, Gems, Skills, MCP Servers, Plugins, Schedules, and Help Center, plus demo sign-in/sign-up flows with isolated per-user browser workspaces.

In-Browser MSW + IndexedDB Engine & OpenAPI 3.1 Contract: Requests are intercepted by MSW and persisted in IndexedDB by default, with contracts/openapi.json and NEXT_PUBLIC_API_BASE_URL ready to connect to a live backend.

Bilingual Localization: Full English and Vietnamese interface localization powered by next-intl, verified across desktop (1440px), tablet (768px), and mobile (390px) breakpoints.
