Website for brand naming expert and storytelling consultant
Task
Max Ivory needed a personal website that would reflect his expertise as a seasoned naming consultant and branding strategist. The goal was to present his professional background, highlight key achievements, and introduce his agency Namewerk in a clean, confident, and personal way. The site had to feel both refined and approachable, with a focus on storytelling, clarity, and trust.
Process
We started by analyzing Max’s tone of voice and the materials he uses to present himself. Based on that, I designed a one-page layout that focuses on hierarchy and rhythm, balancing text blocks with ample whitespace. Special attention was paid to typography and microinteractions — keeping the overall look minimal yet distinct. The design subtly echoes editorial aesthetics, aligning with Max’s strategic, language-based profession.
The copy was collaboratively edited to feel natural, but authoritative. I also built the site with ease-of-editing in mind, so Max could later tweak content if needed.
Result
A compact, elegant website that reflects Max’s unique value in the branding space. The structure guides visitors through his background, credentials, and services, building credibility along the way. The end result feels personal but professional — just like Max’s approach to naming.
