Coats Company, specialists in tire changers, wheel balancers, lifts, and alignment systems, sought a website redesign to better showcase their extensive product range and enhance their online presence. Their aim was to create a digital platform that not only highlighted their innovative products, such as the Maxx Series tire changers and Direct Drive wheel balancers but also provided easy access to information about their services like lift inspections and the Coats Service Network.
In redesigning the Coats Company website, my focus was on creating a user-friendly interface that elegantly displayed their wide array of products for light passenger cars and trucks, including scissor lifts, 2 post and 4 post lifts, and alignment systems like the CWA 6500 Wheel Aligner. I ensured that the site was easily navigable, allowing customers to find detailed information on each product line, including inspection lane equipment and shop productivity tools like the Smart Shop and Smart Lot systems. A key aspect of my work was to align the website’s design with Coats Company's brand identity, ensuring a cohesive and professional online presence.
The redesigned website significantly improved the user experience, making it easier for customers to explore Coats Company's products and services.
