The Sustainable City Brand Website

The Sustainable City is the global leader, building a replicable framework for Sustainable Cities around the world. We built a modern, highly engaging website for The Sustainable city, that features the soul of the thriving community the residents as well as features the amenities and details of each of the Sustainable Cities in 4 regions.

The client contacted me as a web developer and was looking to source the design from elsewhere. However I specialise in interaction and UI design and offered my design services coupled with full stack web development. TSC team had an open brief, to create something that is modern, engaging but also reflects the corporate side of the entity. We ran multiple rounds of research and discovery before crafting the design options. During the design phase, we made multiple iterations to cater the the ideal audience and reflect the business objectives in a highly engaging manner.

For back-end we used WordPress as CMS as it gives flexibility for multiple authors from The Sustainable City team to write blogs, update content or even add new pages, without changing the design.

We also hosted it on a high-performance cloud hosting. The new website saw +80% increase in engagement, not only from the primary region but globally. The Sustainable City website is featured in various design blogs as a source of insipiration.
