AirTexno: Creating Website Design for Appliance Repair Service Center

AirTexno company reached out through a referral with the task of creating a modern web solution for their appliance repair service center. The company owner, Sanal, was looking for a designer to completely overhaul their outdated website.

Project Goal: Replacing Outdated Solution for Advertising Traffic

The main objective of the project was to create a modern website design for effectively directing traffic from Google Ads campaigns. The existing company website was so outdated and non-converting that it required urgent replacement. The old site couldn't handle the task of converting paid traffic into clients, which led to advertising budget losses.

Concept Development: Finding the Right Style

I started the work by creating two different visual concepts to determine the stylistic direction. The first concept turned out to be insufficiently suitable for the client's vision and American market specifics.
The second concept proved to be a more accurate hit — it better matched the client's expectations and target audience requirements. After detailed discussion with the client, we determined that this concept would become the foundation for further work on the entire website design.

Competitor Analysis and Strategic Planning

After approving the visual direction, I conducted a deep analysis of the competitive environment in the appliance repair niche. Key discovery of the research: there were no quality websites in this niche that could be used as a benchmark or source of inspiration.
All analyzed direct competitor websites turned out to be either technically outdated or had serious problems with user experience and visual execution. This required searching for best practices among indirect competitors from related service spheres — both in visual design and functional solutions.

Structure Creation and Site Map

Based on the conducted analysis and understanding of target audience behavioral features, I developed an optimal website structure. When creating the site map, I considered American service market specifics and the psychology of users who urgently need appliance repair.
The structure was built with maximum focus on conversion: every page and every element had to contribute to turning a visitor into a client. I removed redundant informational sections that could distract from the main goal — ordering the service.

Design Creation: Minimalist and Friendly Approach

The design was developed in a minimalist, kind, and simple style, specifically adapted to American consumer requests and expectations. Every interface element is aimed at creating a trustful atmosphere and maximally simplifying the process of interacting with the service.
The visual solution was built on principles of cleanliness and functionality — no unnecessary decorative elements that could distract from the main task. The color palette chosen is calming and professional, typography is readable and friendly.
I paid special attention to developing a multifunctional service ordering form. The form allows users to choose different types of services — repair or installation — with detailed customizable parameters. The form structure is designed so that clients with different needs can quickly find and order exactly the service they require, filling out only fields relevant to their situation.

Detailed Development in Figma

After approving the general stylistic direction, I proceeded to create detailed layouts of all website pages in Figma. I worked on desktop versions, paying special attention to several critically important blocks.
Social Proof Block — carefully designed a section with real customer reviews. Added the possibility of integrating video testimonials for maximum trust increase in the service. Understanding the importance of social proof for American audiences, I made this block one of the central website elements.
Case Studies and Portfolio Section — created a block with examples of completed work, where photos of the technician directly in the process of repairing equipment were planned. For each case, I provided brief but informative descriptions of completed projects indicating equipment type and problem nature.
Professional Competency Demonstration — instead of abstract statistical data, I placed logos of specific appliance brands that the service center regularly works with. This solution allows visitors to assess the company's professional scope in seconds and understand whether the service works with their specific equipment brand.

Responsive Versions and Interactivity Planning

After completing and approving desktop layouts, I created full responsive versions for tablets and mobile devices. During adaptation, I paid special attention to preserving key element functionality, especially the service ordering form.
In the process of creating layouts, I planned several interactive elements that should improve user experience:
Interactive appliance brand logos with color change to brand blue on hover
Smooth scroll animation in the customer reviews block
Soft transitions between different interface element states

Design Work Completion and Project Handoff

The design work was fully completed in Figma — all necessary layouts were created, including desktop and mobile versions of all pages. I prepared detailed layouts with specifications for all dimensions, spacing, colors, and interactive element states.
Important clarification: The technical development of the website was not performed by me. After completing the design work, the layouts were handed over to an independent developer who implemented the site through manual coding. I did not participate in the development process and am not connected with the project developer.

Design Work Results

Created a complete set of design layouts for a modern service center website that:
Reflects the company's professional level and is adapted for the American market
Optimized for converting traffic from paid advertising campaigns
Contains a well-thought-out system of social proof and expertise demonstration
Includes a functional form for ordering various types of services
Has minimalist and friendly design that meets target audience expectations
The layouts are fully ready for technical implementation and contain all necessary specifications for developing a modern, conversion-focused website.
