Higher degree research showcase at Western Sydney University

Western Sydney University wanted to raise the profile of its leading higher degree research candidates. Traditional research profiles weren't reaching the collaborators, students and industry partners the university wanted to attract.

Through ARK360, I designed and built the showcase, working with university stakeholders from concept to launch.

Researcher profiles that combine video interviews, project summaries, research themes and real-world applications.

Filtering by discipline, research theme and impact area, so visitors can find the research that matters to them.

A content management area, so administrators can manage profiles without technical help.

The showcase runs on Duda. It is fully responsive and built for search visibility, with a modular design system that can grow to cover events and more profiles. Media handling is optimised for high-quality video and images, and it follows the university's IT governance and WCAG accessibility standards.

The showcase launched in line with the academic calendar.

Research that used to sit in static profiles is now told as stories visitors can explore and filter.

It has room to scale as more researchers are added.
