The problem
At ADCO, project data sat in spreadsheets and disconnected systems across project controls, safety, finance and site operations. Reporting was slow and relied on manual entry.
My role
As a Microsoft consultant, I partnered with the CIO to lead development of a central data hub. I worked closely with IT, operations and finance.
What I built
An Azure SQL data hub as the single source for project data.
Logic Apps and Functions to automate data flows between business systems, and API Management to expose data services securely.
Power Apps and SharePoint interfaces for business users, plus Power BI dashboards on project performance.
I delivered it in phases, starting with project status tracking and site performance, with role-based access and logging throughout.

Outcomes
One Azure data hub in place of spreadsheet-based processes.
