I created a content marketing campaign around the launch of the Raspberry Pi 3 computer, which involved building the device into an IKEA coffee table complete with a screen and arcade controls, allowing people to play all their favourite classic video games.
This campaign quickly went viral, and was featured in Lifehacker, Wired, the Raspberry Pi Foundation blog, in numerous books and magazines (being featured on the cover of several), and became the most viewed page, traffic source and registration driver ever published on the element14 Community.
Disney has since commissioned me to build several of these gaming tables for its offices in California, and I’ve also built them for Steve Wozniak and Ernie Cline. I built a deluxe 4-player version (https://twitter.com/ItsAll_Geek2Me/status/837969055898292224) that now sits in the lobby at the Raspberry Pi Foundation HQ.
