Mouse Jiggler: WordPress-to-Static Migration & AEO

The challenge

Mouse Jiggler is my own cross-platform app for Windows and Linux, sold as a monthly subscription with a free trial. In early July its WordPress site brought in only a few organic clicks a day, and AI assistants barely knew the product existed. The goal was a site that loads fast, ranks in Google and gets recommended in AI search, without losing the visibility it already had.

What I did as founder and developer

Migrated the site off WordPress to a static website, with technical SEO built into every page from day one.
Built a new licensing system and a custom customer dashboard alongside the Stripe checkout.
Shipped a free browser tool, a free Chrome extension, documentation, a blog and an affiliate program, so people have more ways to discover the product.
Ran answer engine optimization (AEO) so AI assistants understand what the product does and who it is for, and recommend it.

Results, early July to late September

Organic clicks grew from a few per day to 25–40 per day.
100% of URLs reported in Search Console pass Core Web Vitals.
Went from largely unknown in AI search to frequently recommended by ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.

What this means for your project

If your site is stuck on a slow or hard-to-maintain CMS, I can migrate it without losing rankings and set it up to be found in both Google and AI search. Message me and I'll tell you what I'd fix first.

Moved my own app's site off WordPress to static. Organic clicks went from a few a day to 25–40, every URL passes Core Web Vitals, and ChatGPT now recommends it.
