ThermoLab — From Startup Wellness Brand to a Recognized UK Category Leader
Brand identity, strategy, and website for ThermoLab — a wellness tech company that needed a site as premium and science-backed as the products it sells.
ThermoLab had the products. Portable saunas, red light panels, LED face masks, and PEMF therapy mats — real devices with real clinical results and a growing base of loyal customers across the UK. But turning a wellness product line into a trusted, premium brand meant the site had to do more than list specs. It needed to build credibility fast, translate science into simple language, and make every product feel like a considered purchase rather than an impulse buy. [The gap/bottleneck before your work — fill in: e.g. generic template store, no clear visual identity, cluttered product pages, no trust signals, etc.]

The identity centers on a custom geometric mark, a monogram built from overlapping circles and quarter-arcs, engineered on a strict grid so the shape reads as precise and almost clinical rather than decorative. Paired with a bold, modern wordmark and a registered mark (©), it signals a brand that takes its science seriously without losing warmth.
Color does the emotional work: a deep red-to-coral gradient anchors the entire system, standing in for heat, energy, and recovery, the physical sensations the products are built to deliver. It's balanced against near-black backgrounds throughout social and marketing templates, letting the red feel intentional and premium rather than loud.
The photography direction leans sensory over clinical, skin, sweat, sunlight, close-up shots of the body mid-recovery, paired with sharp, editorial-style headlines ("Your skin. In the language it speaks.", "20 minutes inside a sauna. What actually happens?"). Bold sans-serif type carries the weight, with italic accent words used sparingly to add emphasis without breaking the grid.

The full system: positioning, logo, color and type system, brand guidelines, and a storefront designed and built on CMS. A brand that scales from product pages to social ads to the unboxing experience.
ThermoLab now turns cold traffic into confident buyers before a single question gets asked. In a market full of wellness brands competing on discount codes and before/after photos, they're the one that looks like the clinically-validated, premium choice. That's the gap brand closes at an inflection point — it makes the product feel as credible as the science actually is.
