Catherine Orchard is a New York filmmaker whose clients include Vogue. Her site had to load fast and be easy for her to keep up to date.
Homepage on desktop and mobile
What I built
A home page that opens on full-screen video.
Her work sorted into Commissions, Beauty, Portraits and Still Life. Each category has its own page, so a client looking for beauty work lands straight on it.
She adds new pieces herself without touching the layout.
Even with all that video, the site scored 100 in all four Google Lighthouse categories.
