Floral is an exploration into what an AI workspace could feel like if it was designed around calmness, creativity, and organic interaction rather than dashboards and enterprise software.
The goal was to create an experience that feels less like operating software and more like collaborating with an intelligent creative partner.
The Challenge
Most AI products share similar visual patterns:
Dark interfaces
Dense information layouts
Technical language
Utility-first interactions
I wanted to explore a different direction:
What if AI felt light, approachable, and creative from the first interaction?
The challenge became designing an interface that communicates capability without feeling intimidating.
Exploration: Floral ASCII Effects
Exploration: Floral ASCII Effects
One of the most experimental aspects of the project was the creation of the background visual system.
Instead of using traditional gradients or abstract illustrations, I explored floral-inspired ASCII textures generated from symbols and characters.
The effect sits somewhere between:
generative art,
botanical structures,
terminal aesthetics,
and machine-generated patterns.
The result creates an identity that feels simultaneously:
technological,
organic,
and slightly dreamlike.
The visual noise also subtly communicates the idea of intelligence emerging from information.
Layout Decisions
Split Composition
The interface uses a simple two-column layout:
Left side
Product messaging
Call to action
Social proof
Right side
Interactive AI experience
Suggested actions
Conversation entry point
This creates an immediate understanding of both the value proposition and the product itself.
Thanks for watching :)
