About Med-e-Screen

Med-e-Screen leverages advanced technology to empower innovative healthcare solutions, connecting unemployed doctors to make healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone. By providing professional healthcare workers with cutting-edge tools, Med-e-Screen enables high-quality, personalized care while promoting operational excellence at competitive rates. This approach enhances patient care, improves clinical efficiency, and supports data-driven decision-making, particularly benefiting underserved communities where proactive testing for life-threatening diseases can be lifesaving.

The Design Process:

When I was hired to start designing for this impactful brand, I was merely freelancing. Then I was tasked with taking charge of the design, considering previous strategy sessions, other ideas, and board meetings. I began the conceptualisation of Med-e-Screen by combining keywords, values, and target positioning mentioned in the strategy into my drawing board. There, I integrated the concept of accessible healthcare into sketches and moved them into Illustrator for the first review. This review led to the idea of adding a leaf to the logo to further capture the idea of healthcare freedom and accessibility.
The project was fast-paced and full of pressure for board members to see and invest in. It then paused until it resurfaced with a face we could add to the brand, Dr. Taz Emeran-Thomas. With Dr. Taz on board, everything started up again, and web design, social media, co-branding, and video productions soon followed in pursuit. I once again became the lead designer and art director, visually taking Med-e-Screen to the world for a better future in healthcare, achieved through effective communications
