As part of a collaborative creative team, I developed the complete visual concept for a major cultural festival held in Kremenchuk. This included the creation of a distinctive visual identity that captured the spirit of local heritage, community celebration, and artistic expression.

Visual Identity & Promotional Design for a Cultural Festival in Kremenchuk
A memorable slogan and accompanying text were crafted in close collaboration with the festival organizers, encapsulating the theme and emotional core of the event. These elements were harmonized across all visual formats to ensure a unified and engaging message.

The design process began with the development of a bold and cohesive branding system. I created a series of vibrant posters and key visuals, each integrating abstract elements, dynamic compositions, and rich color palettes inspired by regional motifs and the festive atmosphere. Typography was carefully selected to strike a balance between modern appeal and cultural resonance.
I also prepared a full set of adaptable layouts for both digital and print use—including Instagram-ready graphics, story formats, and large-format materials for outdoor and on-site promotion. Each asset was optimized for clarity, visual impact, and brand consistency across various platforms.

The project was a result of close teamwork with event curators, marketing coordinators, and fellow designers. Our joint effort brought to life a powerful visual narrative that successfully connected with audiences and enhanced the festival’s cultural presence.

Poster design plays a pivotal role in shaping the visual language of any cultural event. In the case of the Kremenchuk Cultural Festival, the poster served as more than just an announcement—it became a key visual symbol that captured the essence of the celebration and invited the audience into its unique atmosphere.

A central theme of the Kremenchuk Cultural Festival was the celebration and preservation of the city’s historical and cultural heritage—particularly its unique mosaic art, a defining visual language of public space in Ukraine. The very name of the festival was inspired by this heritage, referencing the intricate, enduring beauty of mosaic work as a symbol of collective memory, craftsmanship, and cultural resilience.
This profound connection to local history played a defining role in shaping the festival’s visual identity. The design approach sought not only to attract and inform, but to honor. Every element—from textures and colors to graphic motifs and compositional structure—was consciously chosen to echo the aesthetics of mosaic art: fragmented yet unified, abstract yet deeply narrative.
In this context, design became an instrument of cultural storytelling. The poster series and visual materials were conceived as modern interpretations of mosaic tradition, incorporating geometric rhythms, tactile surfaces, and layered symbolism that reflected both the artistry and meaning embedded in public mosaic panels found throughout Kremenchuk.
The mission of the festival—to bridge past and present, art and community—became the guiding principle for every visual decision. Typography carried historical weight while maintaining contemporary clarity. Color schemes drew from the faded yet dignified tones of weathered mosaics. Layouts were built to suggest both order and organic growth—mirroring how cultural memory lives within the layers of time.
By embedding this narrative into the visual identity, the design work helped amplify the festival’s message: that culture is not static, but living. It transforms, reflects, and connects. The role of design, in this case, was not merely decorative—it was foundational to communicating the purpose and soul of the event.
