Overview
Datomix is building the new internet backbone: an open, decentralized, user-owned core data standard. We're pioneering a Web3 future where users control their digital assets, addressing centralization concerns head-on.
Goal
Our primary goal was to transform Datomix's complex vision into an instantly understandable and engaging landing page. We aimed to clarify their groundbreaking mission, drive specific user actions, and build immediate trust with diverse audiences (developers, indexers, general users).
Challenge A: Demystifying Decentralized Concepts
Problem: Web3 jargon alienates users, causing high bounce rates.
Solution (My UI/UX Approach): Implemented Intuitive Information Architecture (IA) and concise UX writing. Designed for progressive disclosure and clear visual hierarchy, using simple language over technical jargon.
Challenge B: Guiding Diverse User Journeys
Problem: Catering to varied user needs (developers, community, indexers) on a single page.
Solution (My UI/UX Approach): Optimized Call to Action (CTA) design and placement. Crafted distinct, visually prominent CTAs ("Join Community," "Become an Indexer") to guide specific user pathways efficiently.
Solution & Outcome:
As a UI/UX Designer, I engineered Datomix's website for measurable results. My approach focused on intuitive IA, visually optimized CTAs, and trust-building design, transforming complexity into clarity. This strategy directly impacts key metrics: driving higher CTA Click-Through Rates, improving scroll depth (user engagement), and ultimately boosting conversion rates for community growth and stakeholder onboarding, proving design impact in the Web3 space.
