Know Your Limits
I had just finished a 6 month long project and was pushing myself way too hard. I was feeling pretty rusty on my drawing/inking technique so I blocked off time on my calendar every morning for a week to work on this.
After finishing the piece, I decided to remove the 'JG' Monogram on the right side. So I had to cut it out and put a new piece of paper on the backside. And now you can't even tell that the right side was a different drawing originally.
Make time for yourself to expand your craft, but don't forget to practice the basics too.

After a long project, I spent a week rededicating my mornings to drawing — reconnecting with my craft and sharpening the basics that started it all.
