Project Freya is a remote audio transcription quality review project focused on long-form podcast recordings.

As a contributor, you’ll review transcription and annotation work, identify inaccuracies, and check that content follows the project guidelines consistently.

As a contributor, you will:

Review long-form audio transcriptions for accuracy.

Check speaker labels, timestamps, and speech segmentation.

Verify and correct pre-annotated segments when needed.

Flag audio issues such as unclear speech, strong accents, incorrect language, or synthetic audio.

Identify discrepancies between the transcription, the audio, and project guidelines.

Help maintain consistent quality across completed tasks.

To participate, you should:

Be a native speaker of one of the supported locales.

Have a strong level of written English.

Have excellent listening comprehension and attention to detail.

Be familiar with regional accents and language variations.

Be comfortable following detailed transcription and annotation guidelines.

Be able to distinguish between multiple speakers.

Have access to a computer, reliable internet connection, and microphone.

Successfully complete the required practice tasks before starting project work.

Previous experience in transcription, linguistic annotation, data labeling, or quality review is an advantage.
