I created a TikTok video for the Daybird brand showcasing their unique "skinwear" product, a makeup and skincare hybrid that simplifies routines and allows you to wear less and benefit more. The goal was to help people show up every day; however, they were at that moment. I followed the brand's guidelines of vertical 9:16 orientation, natural lighting, showing the use of the product, applying it, showing my honest and authentic face, showing the product in action, including makeup, skincare, and SPF, and using captions/text labels for accessibility. I was authentic to my voice and page. Still, I avoided adding logos or graphics, studio images, filters, holding the product up to my cheek, unboxing videos, long skincare routines or heavy makeup routines, and using undefined makeup/skincare competitor products in the video.
