I designed a full website for Emerald Psychiatry, a mental health practice providing psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults. The project required a website design that balances warmth and professionalism - making mental healthcare feel accessible while maintaining the clinical trust patients expect.

Mental health websites often fall into two traps: either they feel too sterile and clinical, or they overcompensate with softness and lose credibility. Emerald Psychiatry needed a web design that sits right in the middle - compassionate yet professional, modern yet calming.

I built the entire UI/UX in Figma, designing a homepage that takes users on a guided journey - from understanding what Emerald offers, to meeting their clinicians, to booking their first appointment.

→ Organic visual language - Flowing curved lines and soft shapes are woven throughout the layout, creating a sense of calm that subconsciously puts visitors at ease. This was a deliberate UX decision, not just decoration.

→ Strategic color palette - Emerald green as the primary brand color conveys growth and healing, while warm coral accents add approachability and energy to key CTAs and feature sections.

→ Trust-building architecture - The page structure flows intentionally: value proposition → services → social proof → clinician profiles → FAQ → CTA. Each section answers the next logical question a hesitant patient might have.

→ Conversion-optimized layout - CTAs like "Get Started" and "Learn More" are placed at natural decision points after trust-building content, not randomly scattered.

→ Warm, real photography - Authentic imagery of diverse individuals paired with the green palette reinforces inclusivity and comfort.

The final website design delivers a digital experience that feels like a warm first handshake - professional, reassuring, and human. The UI/UX is designed to reduce bounce rates and increase appointment bookings by removing friction and building trust at every scroll.
