Overview:
Viewfinder is an innovative web app transforming how users discover and interact with art. The app uses advanced AI technology to interpret natural language queries to provide curated art recommendations from diverse databases. Built with a modern stack including Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and AWS serverless architecture, Viewfinder offers a responsive and intuitive user experience, making art exploration accessible to everyone.
Role and Responsibilities:
As the sole developer, I was responsible for the entire project lifecycle—from conception and design to deployment and maintenance. This included programming the front end with Next.js, styling with Tailwind CSS, and setting up the backend with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Amplify.

Process:
The development began with identifying user needs and defining functional requirements. I designed the UI/UX with Figma, focusing on simplicity and ease of use. The backend was implemented using AWS services to efficiently handle data fetching and API management. Throughout the project, I incorporated feedback from my mentor and peers to refine the app.
Results:
Viewfinder has successfully simplified the art discovery process, offering users a personalized experience based on their preferences and interactions. The app has been well-received for its performance and user-centric design, significantly enhancing users' engagement with art.
