TINGKO SELECT was founded in 2023 in Taipei, Taiwan, born from an interior designer’s pursuit for unique home goods with kindred personalities and stories — offering a touch of magic for our interior lives. Our mark represents “light” which has a transformative power, inspired by Calcifer, the fire spirit in Studio Ghibili’s film “Howl’s Moving Castle.” Basing the light sign as the core of the mark, we used it to develop more symbols to communicate magic, emotion, power, creativity, home and more. We worked carefully with the first-time founder and entrepreneur from branding, web, print, packaging, to content, editorial and more.
