Mountain Wood & Metal Cabin — 3D Sketch & Rendering

A personal project developed in close collaboration with an architecture studio — a wood and metal cabin designed to sit naturally within a mountain landscape.

The project needed high-quality 3D visualization to communicate the spatial concept clearly, both for the design process and to support the studio's architectural plans. The goal was to produce renders realistic and detailed enough to guide construction decisions and align everyone on the final vision.

I modeled the full cabin in SketchUp and produced the renders in Enscape, working directly alongside the architecture studio's 2D models and architectural plans. The collaboration required translating technical drawings into immersive 3D visualizations that captured:

The material quality of wood and metal

The mountain setting and natural surroundings

The spatial atmosphere of the design

Over the course of the project I delivered between 20 and 40 renders covering multiple angles, lighting conditions, and interior and exterior views.

The architecture studio was happy with the render results. The project is currently in its final stage of construction, meaning the visualizations successfully served their purpose from concept through to build.
