Biryani Qissa Branding

Biryani Qissa is a Mughlai food heaven that is ready to create quite a buzz among Mughlai lovers. With a menu full of North Indian Mughlai delicacies, they are prepping to present the unique love stories that Biryani tells with all its aroma, taste and outlook. Their demand was to reflect this unique story in the logo while maintaining the rich history and heritage that Biryani carries with itself. For the logo, a love scene from the Mughal period is chosen to focus on the importance of Biryani which has been serving its purpose in mending a relationship since the aforementioned period. The backdrop represents the interior of that period as well. They have this unique proposition of gifting badges to their customers. The badges focus on four characters viz. Anarkali, Babar Babu, Sassy Begum and Soda Akbar. These four characters, each full of their own charismatic characteristics will certainly add value to the brand. To the designer, the challenge was to reflect the highlights of each character in its facial expression and outlook with not only the line drawing but also the colours.
