The Project
The goal of this project was to design a sophisticated, visually appealing e-commerce website that sold one-off African furniture. The website was meant to communicated its niche and and attract the right buyers.
Extensive research went in to luxury websites, the look, feel and colors at are often associated with such brands. The research included:

The results of the research and design process enabled use to design a unique website that captured the sophistication of the brand. I also assisted in designing an 'iconic' logo for the brand to represent its proximity to nature, and what the brand stands for. View the results below!

Font
Meshed Display is a sophisticated modern font that we felt further enhanced the brand and communicated its elegance as well as giving a nod to its modern approach to commerce.
Colors
The primary color which we called 'light-charcoal' because its not completely black is associated with exclusivity and prestige. Both secondary and tertiary colors add excitement to the design as well as a modern sophisticated color pallet.
