As a Release Manager/Product Specialist at LoadStop, my primary responsibility was to oversee the release of new products and features for our trucking-based platform. In this role, I was responsible for coordinating with various teams across the company, including software developers, quality assurance engineers, and product managers, to ensure that new features and updates were developed and delivered on time and according to customer requirements.
To accomplish this, I developed and maintained release schedules and coordinated with all stakeholders to ensure that each release was well-planned and executed without any hiccups. I also created detailed release notes and communicated with customers about the new features and changes that were being released, ensuring that they were properly trained on any updates or changes.
Additionally, as a product specialist, I was responsible for monitoring user feedback and analyzing customer usage patterns to identify areas for improvement in our platform. I worked closely with the product management team to develop strategies for improving our product offering, incorporating user feedback, and addressing customer needs.
To be successful in this role, I developed a strong understanding of the trucking industry and worked to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. I also had to be detail-oriented and organized, as well as have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
