Case Study: How The Quiet Culture Turned a Broken Email Channel into a Revenue Engine
The Problem
The Quiet Culture had beautiful products and a clear brand identity. Their email marketing had neither.
Campaigns went out with inconsistent branding. Every send was a generic blast to the full list. There were no automated flows, no segmentation, no strategy for turning one-time buyers into repeat customers. Email was an afterthought, and the revenue numbers showed it.
The brand needed more than a few pretty templates. They needed a complete email system built for conversion.
What I Built
I started by auditing what existed and mapping out where revenue was leaking. Then I rebuilt the entire email infrastructure from the ground up.
Segmentation and targeting: Replaced the "blast everyone" approach with behavior-based segments. New subscribers, active buyers, lapsed customers, and VIPs each got different messaging at different frequencies.
Flow architecture: Built automated sequences for the moments that matter most: welcome series for new subscribers, post-purchase flows to drive repeat orders, browse abandonment to recapture interest, and win-back sequences for customers going cold.
Email design system: Created mobile-responsive templates that matched The Quiet Culture's visual identity. Every email was designed to move the reader from headline to CTA with minimal friction. Product imagery, brand storytelling, and promotional offers each got their own layout structure so the team could mix and match without losing consistency.
CTA optimization: Restructured button placement and copy across every template. CTAs were positioned based on scroll depth and content type, not just dropped at the bottom.
The Results
Click-through rates hit 30% across campaign sends
Subscriber engagement increased measurably within the first 60 days
Repeat purchase rate improved through automated retention sequences
The brand now has a scalable email system they can run independently
Email became a consistent, trackable revenue channel instead of a guessing game
