UVA is a food-delivery service in Puerto Rico. Dispatchers had no centralized view of live orders, driver locations, or availability, and drivers had no dedicated workflow at all. Communication across restaurants, dispatchers, drivers, and customers was fragmented, and the team was manually patching operational failures every day.
I mapped the full delivery lifecycle from order placement to doorstep, then designed two connected products: a real-time web dashboard giving dispatchers map-based coordination and live order management, and a driver mobile app built around a single action per screen. Wireframes were validated with the team before moving into high-fidelity UI.
On the driver side, the real design challenge was deciding what not to show — drivers are moving, often one-handed, and every extra element is a risk. The result gave coordinators full operational visibility, gave drivers a clear step-by-step workflow, and made onboarding faster for both roles through one consistent design language.
