Challenge

An Italian postgraduate institute that trains psychotherapists wanted to move admissions and student administration into one web application for staff and students. That meant online enrolment with identity documents, review of applications, records of students and teachers, the study programme and tuition paid in instalments. Data had to follow Italian rules for tax codes, VAT numbers and phone formats, and the work came through partner agency Fullbrains.

Solution

We built a Nuxt 3 PWA on Supabase, using Postgres, auth, row-level security and storage, with Nuxt UI, Tailwind, FormKit forms, Yup validation and Pinia stores. Applicants fill in a multi-step enrolment form, upload documents and choose an instalment plan; staff confirm requests, track overdue payments and manage teachers and the programme. Nuxt server routes generate enrolment documents, send emails via Nodemailer and create student accounts through Google APIs. I led the WeDo side, shaped the data model and wrote much of the code.
